The Trend Edit: Bright is Right

SS17 is all about Bright colors. As the season progress, we’re seeing signs that the fashion world’s love for a minimalist aesthetic is developing into a more refined aesthetic. Design houses including Stella McCartney have been pushing the boundaries by using a spectrum of bold colors. Pink has been the dominant shade at both London and Paris Fashion Weeks, with brands such as Balenciaga and Valentino sending different hues of blush down the runway. But if pink isn’t your thing, then why not go with neon green or vibrant orange?

COS

COS are seasoned pros at injecting vibrant colors into their signature minimal aesthetic. This skirt, in a zany shade of orange, is the point where 90’s rave meets clean utilitarian minimalism. In keeping with COS’s aesthetic, it’s sharp geometric cut means that it can transition from day to night.

TOPSHOP

Over the years Topshop has honed the art of designing catwak-worthy trends on a budget. This summer the design team at Topshop HQ clearly got the pink memo. We’re obsessed with the combination of these trousers with the playful pink gingham top. To make this even better, add a piece of our jewelry. Our Gold Kisses Earrings are just the accessory to set this outfit alight.

& Other Stories was founded with the aim of encouraging women to grab life by the horns and be their authentic selves. These days, just like COS, the brand is owned by H&M, but the design team hasn't had compromise their artistic vision. The minimalist trend of the last few years has relied heavily on monochrome colors, but this vibrant orange dress is a wonderful break from convention. Our three gold triangles bangle with brilliant blue sapphires will contrast beautifully with the vibrant orange dress.

Mango

Did someone say pattern? This playful jumpsuit from Mango is the perfect investment piece that you’re guaranteed to wear throughout the summer months. MANGO was founded in 1984 in Barcelona. With over 2,200 stores in 109 countries, it’s now one of the biggest retail brands in the world. With beautiful designs like this, it’s clear that they aren’t going anywhere. In keeping with this busy outfit, why not try our five gold air kisses necklace?

Olive Clothing

To achieve their distinctive aesthetic, Olive works with a network of creatives. This creates collections that merge minimalism with contemporary street style. In a relaxed shade of baby pink, this linen ribbon skirt somehow combines 90’s Clueless vibes with high-fashion simplicity. Now there’s a look that we can get behind!
